Weekly Schedule Update for October 6th…..
This week we wrap up our remaining summer points series and say goodbye to the current indoor layout.
After racing Wednesday night we will pull up the pipe on the indoor layout so we can begin repairs on the back wall. We plan on doing the wall repairs Thursday and Friday evenings and then start a track build with the plan to be racing Saturday, October 18th. If you have any experience doing block work or just want to help out, help is appreciated for the wall build. We will be gluing the blocks as we did for the original build. As a result the indoor offroad track will be closed (no practice or racing) from the 9th through the 17th.
Tuesday night is the final round of our Summer Tuesday Thunder Dirt Oval Series. There is some rain in the overnight and early morning forecast but we will be doing everything possible to be able to race Tuesday. Once the points season has wrapped up, we will schedule a couple weeks of club racing before wrapping up the outdoor season.
Wednesday it’s the final Indoor Offroad Winning Wednesday Series date.. This will be our freaky fast program with 1 qualifier and mains. Series awards at the end of racing. Pipe pulling after that.
Friday night Mini Mania was a bit of a disappointment last week (only 2 guys showed). So we’re going to regroup while the track build is taking place and come back on October 24th.
Saturday is the final round of the Tekno Summer Outdoor Offroad Series. There will be no indoor 10th scale racing so we’re going to move the start time up an hour to 2:30. Awards for the day and the series will follow racing.
Sunday it's onroad racing at 1 if we have enough.
This week’s schedule:
Monday - 4-10 pm - Practice on all tracks except dirt oval (prep night)
Tuesday - 4-10 pm - Tuesday Thunder Summer Dirt Oval Series @ 6:30, practice at 5. No outdoor offroad practice
Wednesday - 4-10 pm - Indoor WInning Wednesday Points racing @ 7; practice other tracks
Thursday - 4 -10 pm - Indoor offroad track work, other tracks open for practice
Friday - 4 - 10 pm - Indoor offroad track work, oval and carpet practice. Outdoor offroad prep.
Saturday - 10:30 am - 8 pm - Tekno Summer Outdoor Offroad Series Final round. Doors open at 10:30 am; outdoor racing at 2:30pm.
Sunday - 10:30 am - 6:00 pm - Onroad racing @ 1pm. Practice on other tracks.
