Weekly Schedule Update for October 20th…..
This week we continue the transition from outdoor season to indoors. And we have a special event on Sunday with a different kind of competition from our regular racing.
On Tuesday, we have what I think will be our last dirt oval club race of the year. Doors open at 4, practice at 5, racing at 6:30. Let’s enjoy outdoor oval racing while the good weather lasts. The forecast for next Tuesday is wet and cold (in the 50’s). Next Tuesday (10-28) we will have a carpet oval Test N Tune night. More info on that and our carpet oval series to follow.
Wednesday it’s offroad racing on the new indoor offroad layout. Please note the earlier start time for racing (6:30) so that we can run 2 rounds of qualifying and mains and be done at a decent hour.
Friday we’re going to give Mini Mania another shot. Racing will start at 7.
Saturday it’s the start of our Winter Saturday Indoor Offroad Series. Please note that the doors will open at 11 am with racing at 2; 3 rounds of qualifying and mains.
Sunday it’s the 2nd Annual Fastlane RC Carnival. Check out the link to the event for more info. As a result of this event, there will be no carpet onroad racing on Sumday, only practice.
This week’s schedule:
Monday - 4-10 pm - Practice on both offroad tracks and carpet. Dirt oval closed.
Tuesday - 4-10 pm - Dirt Oval Club racing. No outdoor offroad practice.
Wednesday - 4-10 pm - Indoor Offroad Racing at 6:30. Practice on other tracks.
Thursday - 4 -10 pm - Practice on both offroad tracks, oval and carpet onroad.
Friday - 4 - 10 pm - Mini Mania racing at 7. Practice on other tracks.
Saturday - 11 am - 8 pm - Winter Indoor Offroad Saturday Series RD 1. Racing @ 2.
Sunday - 9 am - 6:00 pm - 2nd Annual Fastlane RC Carnival. Doors open at 9 am. Events start at 10:00. Carpet onroad practice only. Practice on indoor offroad and oval.
