Weekly Schedule Update for the week of September 28th…..
Well, last week didn’t go so well. Let’s see how this week turns out. The current forecast is for an inch and a half of rain on Thursday and Friday so we’ll see how it goes.
We are currently scheduled for an offroad points doubleheader on Saturday, Oct 3rd; the last round of the Sizzling Summer Indoor Series and Round 4 of the Outdoor Series. To pull off this doubleheader; we will open at 10 am with indoor racing at noon and outdoor racing at 4. We will aim for a noon start for outdoor practice but this may change based on weather. We will run 2 rounds of qualifying and mains for each series. A doubleheader isn’t optimal but with the summer of cancellations, we don’t have much choice.
Before then on Tuesday it’s the final round for our Summer Tuesday Thunder Dirt Oval Series. Practice starts at 5 with racing at 6:30 pm.
Wednesday night it’s Indoor Offroad Club Racing. Doors open at 4; racing at 6:30.
Thursday night we have carpet oval club racing at 6:30. There will be no prepped oval practice but the track is available for practice.
Friday it’s practice on all tracks (carpet will be set up for onroad).
Saturday it’s Sizzling Summer Series time. Doors open at 10 with racing for the final of the Indoor Offroad Series starting at noon. Outdoor practice is targeted for noon with Round 4 of the Outdoor Offroad Series racing starting at 4.
Sunday it’s carpet onroad racing at 1pm.
